Presets
Steady, Balanced and Degen: three ways to spend the same fee.
A preset is picked at launch and locked for the life of the coin. It sets three things together: the fee split, the take-profit rule, and the dip buys.
| Steady | Balanced | Degen | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buyback / trade / reserve | 25 / 50 / 25 | 5 / 75 / 20 | 0 / 100 / 0 |
| Take profit | sells 33% every +15% on margin | sells 20% every +25% | sells 10% every +100% |
| Dip buys | 6 | 4 | none |
The three shares apply to what is left after the platform's 20%.
#Steady
A quarter of the fees buy the coin, half trade, a quarter wait as dip buys. It sells often and early. The coin gets a steady bid and the position takes profit before it can give it back.
#Balanced
Mostly trading, a small buyback, a reserve for four dip buys. The middle road, and the one most coins should start with.
#Degen
Every fee goes into the perp. No buyback, no reserve, no dip buys, and the position only sells a tenth of itself each time it doubles on margin. It either runs or it gets liquidated.
#What the preset does not change
The platform cut (20%), the creator share of real wins (15%) and the loss-book rule are the same for every preset. The leverage and the market are picked separately, see Leverage and liquidation.
