03 Start
Quickstart
Launch a coin with a desk in four choices.
You need a browser wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom and others work) and a little ETH on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663) for the Pons launch fee and gas.
#Launch
- Open the launch page and press Connect. Pick your wallet. It switches to Robinhood Chain.
- The coin. Name, ticker, a short description, a logo and optional links (website, X, Telegram). The logo is a link (ipfs:// or https://) or an upload when the site has a pinning service.
- The book. Pick one market, long or short, and 2x, 3x or 5x.
- The preset. Steady, Balanced or Degen, and whether the buyback is burned or pooled for holders.
- Fees and launch. Choose your creator fee on every trade, up to Pons' cap. Optionally add a dev buy, which happens in the same transaction. Confirm one transaction in your wallet.
The quote on the right of the launch page shows, for 1 ETH of fees, exactly how much goes where, the price move one take-profit trigger takes, and where liquidation sits.
#After the launch
- You get the contract address, a link to the coin on Pons, a link to the coin's Perpy page and a share button.
- The coin page reads Pons live: price, market cap, creator fee, phase and recipient.
- Your desk settings are saved with the coin in this browser. The desk itself (vault, buyback, perp trading) is not live yet: for now the coin pays its creator fees to your wallet, like any Pons coin. When vaults go live you move the coin onto its vault with one transaction.
- Once on a vault, you cannot change the preset, the market or the routing. Your income as creator is then 15% of real perp wins, paid in ETH as it lands.
#A coin that already exists
A coin already launched on Pons can be moved onto a vault if you are its creator-fee recipient on Pons. You point its creator fees at a Perpy vault. Treat that as permanent: once the fees flow to the vault, the creator no longer receives them directly.
#Try the arithmetic first
The strategy lab on the home page runs the same engine on a simulated price path. Change the preset, the leverage and the side, and watch where the take-profits, the dip buys and the liquidation fall.
